It is no secret that Williams is returning to score Star Wars 8. As we all know, he always remains one of the few constants in each and every Star Wars film, which makes his themes unforgettable. So many fans cannot wait to hear the score for Star Wars the Last Jedi.
Williams was beginning the process of writing the new score back in December 2016. The latest update says that he has already begun conducting. Yesterday, filmmaker Robert Meyer Burnett tweeted that Williams was conducting the score and director Rian Johnson “wants to use the score for editing.” As Williams marked before, he would need to work hard on the score for another month, perhaps even two.
Now director Rian Johnson has been in post-production on Star Wars The Last Jedi which is set for release on December 15, 2017. So he will soon edit with the film’s official score. We can stay tuned!
